Nepali football team came into controversy due to match fixing issues. But recently after solving this issues and dismissing those players who were said to be engaged into match fixing, Nepal Football team has won the Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2016 after 23 years. This was a proud moments for all Nepali all over the world as Nepal won the match after 23 years. Nepali celebrities saluted the football team by attending on an event that was organized to salute the national team of football. Saroj Khanal, Anuradha Koirala, Komal Oli, Deepak Raj Giri, Wilson Bikram Rai, Jitu Nepal were present who shared their views for encouraging National Football team.
