Inspector General of Police (IGP) Upendrakanta Aryal, circulating the entire police office in the country, has warned the office In-charges that they would undergo the punishment in case any police-personnel was found corrupt. Friday, calling all the police officers, IGP Aryal said the action would be taken not only to those who walk in wrong track but also to those officers who could not monitor such activities in the office.

Talking to NEWS24 in his chamber of Police Head Quarter, IGP Aryal has said that he would not excuse at any rate to those who reach to the zero level patience. IGP Aryal says, "In these sting operations, the police personnel who were caught with the bribe; such incidents should be controlled; and in such cases, there will be special evaluation of the police involved in supervision level; and if there found any weaknesses in the supervision level, they will be brought to a very severe action. This is what I have entered in my direction. "

In the last string operation of CIAA (Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority), three police personnel including Lalitpur's DSP Daya Nidhi Gyawali, have been caught during taking bribe. Before taking action to the culprit, IGP Aryal had transferred Lalitpur Police In-charge SSP Pitambar Adhikari for the investigation before alerting the police officers.

IGP Aryal has asked SSP Mr. Pitambar Adhikari the written statement to justify that he was not allegedly involved in the bribery.
