Today's Headlines: Police has arrested three persons who were on the run after murdering 34-year-old Khageshwor Kafle of Sainamaina-10 in Rupandehi district on last week. The trio—Khima Giri, Tulasi Ghimire and Sandip Pariyar—was made public at a press conference on Thursday. A pistol, eight rounds of bullets and a motorcycle were also seized from the three men. Police is treating Giri as the main suspect behind the murder. Ghimire and Pariyar are being seen as accessories to Kafle’s murder. Ghimire, according to police, had served a one year jail term in the past on a drug related crime. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mahendra Khadka said Kafle was murdered because Giri held a grudge against him. The three men had left a written pamphlet at the murder scene, claiming it to be the armed outfit, Tarai Mukti Morcha. The three men were trying to get away with the crime by incriminating the Morcha. DSP Khadka said they were preparing to file a murder case against the trio.
