The Guardian has discharged its yearly UK University rankings, including their rundown of the top schools of structural engineering in the nation. For the current year Cambridge University has taken in front of the rest of the competition, knocking off UCL's Bartlett School of Architecture following three sequential years in the top spot.
For the current year there are two new sections into the main 10, with Queen's University Belfast and Northumbria University sacking fifth and sixth separately, supplanting Oxford Brookes and Kent, who drop to twelfth and fourteenth. Somewhere else, the Glasgow School of Art had a disillusioning result dropping to 43rd, and the University of Greenwich has responded decidedly to their last-put position from a year ago by ascending to 21st.
