Ski Team competed in their first USSA races of the season on January 2-3. The Emily Clothier Memorial Dual, a pair of parallel slalom races, was hosted by the Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation and held at Heavenly Ski Resort, South Lake Tahoe. The Mammoth racers headed into the event having just competed in another dual race, the 2015 Kittredge Cup held Dec. 27 at their home area.

MMST’s Harry Blackburn, a U14 coach who traveled with the team, reported, “Girls ran first. It was fast and furious as it was back-to-back runs, then a reset for the boy’s race. It was a sprint 20 gates from start to finish, the fast time on the first day 19 seconds and the times were close.”
